So I waited until the last minute to think of a costume to wear for Halloween. Bryce and I went to Walmart and Target the night before but I couldn't find anything! I pretty much gave up and then I went through my moms costume box and found a black wig and a witches hat. Ding ding ding! I figured...hey I don't have to spend any money and I can still get into the Halloween spirit! We went to a party and then out to my sisters to see the kids. Then over to our friends for games and cake. It was a pretty fun Halloween but it definitely changes once you get older. I hope everyone had a fun, safe Halloween. Can you believe it's already November?!?

So Bryce and I decided to go for a Sunday drive in the rain and enjoy some time together...we were up on Wasatch driving east close to the mountain and all of the sudden the entire sky is lit up and lightning strikes the mountain right in front of us!!! It looked like the mountain caught on fire but then it disappeared...we couldn't believe it!!!

So it got me a little curious and I looked up some crazy facts about lightning...

*The odds of becoming a lightning victim in the U.S. in any one year is 1 in 700,000. The odds of being struck in your lifetime is 1 in 3,000.

*There are an estimated 25 million lightning flashes in the United States each year.

*During the past 30 years, lightning has killed an average of 66 people per year.

*The primary cause of death from lighting is cardiac arrest.

*Lightning kills more people per year than tornadoes.

I love thunderstorms but lightning scares the crap out of me!!! :)

So my family and I went up to Pine View this past weekend for a little "Getaway", we stayed at the Lakeside Resort condos-which were way nice! We spent most of the time down at the lake riding the wave runners and havin' a great time! My mom made us breakfast and lunch everyday and then my sisters and I split up dinner all 3 nights. My parents were nice enough to take us on this vacation and we made some fun memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks mom and dad!!! :)

*ThE EnD*

So I finally finished the 4th book, Breaking Dawn. I decided to read the first three books 4 days before it came out so it has taken me a little while to get through all of them. I have to say that I have a lot of emotions about the final book. Happy, sad, disappointed, satisfied, and so many others. If you haven't read it yet then I wouldn't keep reading....

I was happy because I wanted Bella and Edward to finally get married and also FINALLY...you know what! :) I was always confused on if they really could do that so it was a little exciting to know that they could. he he Then at the same time I was disappointed that Stephenie Meyer didn't go into more detail about the preparations and description of their wedding. That was the one part that I was waiting for...it was still fun to read and I was content with it afterward. I was a little creeped out when Bella found out she was pregnant and how weird the pregnancy and "birth" was. Once I found out it was really a girl I knew that Jacob would imprint on her.

All in all I was very pleased with how the book ended. Although, I did wish there was more passion and cuteness between Bella and Edward, because that was the fun, giddy part of the whole series. It was still good but I think the third and first books are still my favorite. Can't wait for Midnight Sun to come out...whenever that is. Oh...and the movie!!! December 12th!!! :)

So I'm sure you are all obsessed with Twilight just as much as I am! I started reading the books again and cannot wait for the new book to come out! Hailey and I were talking last night saying how crazy it is that we read the books last Nov/Dec. and we didn't think we could make it until August 2nd and now it's HERE!!! :)

Edward. Enough said. :)

So my family went to the Bees game on Monday and it was so fun! I don't really enjoy watching baseball on tv but actually going to a game is entertaining!

"Take me out to the ball game! Take me out with the crowd!

Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks! I don't care if I ever get back!

Let me root, root, root for the home team! If they don't win it's a shame!

For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at the old ball game!"

Friday night Bryce and I slept over at his parents house to spend some time with his family. His mom and I have really wanted to see Mamma Mia, which came out this weekend. So we decided to go on Saturday...of course Bryce wouldn't watch such a "girly" movie so him and his brother went to see another one.

It was such a good movie-especially because I love musicals! The only awkward part was Pierce Brosnan singing...not so good lol

I would definitely recommend that movie...but only if you like A LOT of singing :)

*CaN I kEeP yOu?*

So I left work early today and went out to my sister Hailey's house to hang out. We were laying on her bed just talking and out of nowhere Chayse put his arms around my neck and said "I want to keep you." It was the cutest thing and we were laughing so hard. He is such a sweetheart and kept saying it to me. He kissed me on the cheek after that and said it again. LoL Hailey asked him why he wanted to keep me and he wouldn't answer. He started patting my head and said "You're my pet!" He is so funny and it totally made my day!

*Me in 3's*

3 JoYs

1. My hubby! We met 2 years ago on July 28th-we were together every day
since! I think we’ve been away from each other a total of maybe 2 weeks. We
both knew the day that we met that there was “something” there and we
couldn’t be away from each other! We’ve had our ups and downs but I
wouldn’t change it for the world. We have so much fun and love to share our
lives together. I love you sweetie!

2. Singing/Poetry: I took singing lessons for about 4 years during high
school and I really enjoyed it. It definitely helped me improve and I
learned a lot. I totally enjoy doing it but NOT so much in front of
people…I get stage fright! I also have been writing poetry since about 2001
or so. I’ve written over 60 poems and they are all about my feelings and
relationships I’ve had. I am very proud of my “few” talents and definitely
find joy in doing them

3. I absolutely LOVE my niece and nephews. They are so much fun to be
around and they are so funny! Skyler will be 6 in September (which I can’t
believe) he is full of energy and loves to be in charge! He has bright blue
eyes that stand out with his blonde, blonde hair-so cute! Marley will be 5
in September and is a total *drama queen* She is very independent and wants
to do everything by herself. She is a great swimmer and is so funny to talk
to. Chaysen is 3 ½ and he is my little Chayse Bug. He has such a big heart
and has the cutest smile ever. He loves to play with everyone and loves the
color Pink lol Last but NOT least my nephew Koston! He will be one July 19th and is the SWEETEST thing in the whole world. He has been through so much in his short
life and has been so tough through it all. He is so precious and is such a
good baby. His smile lights up the room.

3 FeArS

1. I am SO incredibly afraid of spiders, snakes, and sharks. If I see a
spider in my house I seriously freak out! If they are small enough I can
maybe spray them with some hairspray or something but I don’t pick them
up…I wait until someone gets home to flush them down the drain!
Snakes…yeah….I don’t even like talking about them…Sharks-I know that I will
probably never encounter a real life shark but the thought of being in the
ocean and knowing they are beneath me…Uh Ugh. No Bueno!

2. I am afraid that I won’t be able to have babies. I don’t think I could
handle the thought of not knowing what my children would look like, so I’m
crossing my fingers that when we decide to get preggos that it will happen!
I am not looking forward to the “throwing up all the time” part but
actually carrying the baby and going through the process is what I’m
excited for.

3. Losing someone close to me. I believe in heaven and I know that
everything happens for a reason but to lose someone that I love is so hard.
The only person that I’ve lost that I’ve been close to was my Grandpa 4 ½
years ago. I remember the feeling I had when it happened and sometimes I
still can’t believe that he’s gone. That’s why I try to cherish the time I
have with the ones that I love and care about. Life is too short

3 GoaLs

1. To have a nice home with lots of toys! Bryce and I love to camp and
enjoy the outdoors. So once when we can afford it we want to get a bunch of
4-wheelers, a boat, wave runners, etc.

2. To travel. I want to go everywhere! I want to go as many places as we
can before we start to have a family and then once are kids are older I
want to go as a family. My dream vacation is Australia so I hope to go
their someday.

3. To have a family-I want 4 kids and Bryce wants 2 so we compromised and
plan on 3! He tries to go back on his word sometimes but SORRY sweetie
we’re having THREE! No say backs!!!

3 ObSeSsiOnS

1. Lately, it's been swimming. We go like 2-3 times a week. I love it!

2. Twilight. After I read the books I couldn't stop thinking about Edward. I felt guilty thinking about him and told Bryce about my new obsession with Edward Cullen...he didn't care but I wanted to make sure it was ok he he lol AUGUST 2ND-BREAKING DAWN IS RELEASED. Ah!!!!

3. Babies!...I keep telling myself “It's not time to have a baby” “We need to wait” “We're not ready”...etc. But I can't help but be baby hungry. Since I am baby hungry...everyone and their dogs are pregnant! It seems like every week I find out someone else is pregnant or has a baby! I want one!!! :)

3 RaNdOm FaCtS

1.My favorite TV show of all time is ALF. My sister Emree and I used to watch when we were younger-especially when we were sick it would make us feel better. Lol

2. I've never had the chicken pox before!

3. Places I've visited: San Fransisco, Lake Powell, Arizona, Idaho (woo hoo!), Florida, Hawaii, Catalina Island, Ensenada Mex., Cancun, and many other small dinky places that aren't worth mentioning :)

*4tH oF JuLy*

So the tradition in my family for the 4th of July has always been my favorite. We go to Evergreen Park in Holladay for a yummy breakfast, a parade, games, and tons of fun! My whole family gets involved and volunteers to help with the booths (balloon darts, fishing, bottle tossing, etc.).

After that we go over to Granny's house for her birthday celebration! This year she turned 87 and she acts like she is 50! I have always looked up to her. She is so talented and giving and I'm very lucky to have such a generous Grandma like her. There are a lot of us that go over there so she gets pretty overwhelmed trying to make sure everyone is happy...she's like the energizer bunny!!! Since I can remember we have had a water wienie that my uncle Jerry would put together. All of the cousins would jump on it and just wait for it to get so full of water it POPS! I used to get so excited when it finally did because all the cousins would scream and have a blast. :)

Besides Christmas that is my favorite holiday because it's warm, I get to be with family, and we celebrate our freedom! The only part that was missing was Grandpa :( but I'm sure he's watching and we all miss him very much!!!
