*WhAt ArE tHe OdDs?*

So Bryce and I decided to go for a Sunday drive in the rain and enjoy some time together...we were up on Wasatch driving east close to the mountain and all of the sudden the entire sky is lit up and lightning strikes the mountain right in front of us!!! It looked like the mountain caught on fire but then it disappeared...we couldn't believe it!!!

So it got me a little curious and I looked up some crazy facts about lightning...

*The odds of becoming a lightning victim in the U.S. in any one year is 1 in 700,000. The odds of being struck in your lifetime is 1 in 3,000.

*There are an estimated 25 million lightning flashes in the United States each year.

*During the past 30 years, lightning has killed an average of 66 people per year.

*The primary cause of death from lighting is cardiac arrest.

*Lightning kills more people per year than tornadoes.

I love thunderstorms but lightning scares the crap out of me!!! :)

So my family and I went up to Pine View this past weekend for a little "Getaway", we stayed at the Lakeside Resort condos-which were way nice! We spent most of the time down at the lake riding the wave runners and havin' a great time! My mom made us breakfast and lunch everyday and then my sisters and I split up dinner all 3 nights. My parents were nice enough to take us on this vacation and we made some fun memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks mom and dad!!! :)

So I finally finished the 4th book, Breaking Dawn. I decided to read the first three books 4 days before it came out so it has taken me a little while to get through all of them. I have to say that I have a lot of emotions about the final book. Happy, sad, disappointed, satisfied, and so many others. If you haven't read it yet then I wouldn't keep reading....

I was happy because I wanted Bella and Edward to finally get married and also FINALLY...you know what! :) I was always confused on if they really could do that so it was a little exciting to know that they could. he he Then at the same time I was disappointed that Stephenie Meyer didn't go into more detail about the preparations and description of their wedding. That was the one part that I was waiting for...it was still fun to read and I was content with it afterward. I was a little creeped out when Bella found out she was pregnant and how weird the pregnancy and "birth" was. Once I found out it was really a girl I knew that Jacob would imprint on her.

All in all I was very pleased with how the book ended. Although, I did wish there was more passion and cuteness between Bella and Edward, because that was the fun, giddy part of the whole series. It was still good but I think the third and first books are still my favorite. Can't wait for Midnight Sun to come out...whenever that is. Oh...and the movie!!! December 12th!!! :)

So I'm sure you are all obsessed with Twilight just as much as I am! I started reading the books again and cannot wait for the new book to come out! Hailey and I were talking last night saying how crazy it is that we read the books last Nov/Dec. and we didn't think we could make it until August 2nd and now it's HERE!!! :)

Edward. Enough said. :)
